  • Hallmark of anesthesia: therapeutic index of general anesthetics.
  • Preanesthetic medications (benzodiazepines, antihistaminics, antiemetics, opioids, atropine).
  • Stages of anesthesia.
  • Molecular mechanisms: actions on GABA-A and NMDA receptors.
  • Inhalational and intravenous agents.

Dr. Beedimani has worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Pharmacology at the King Edward Memorial Hospital Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and also as Medical Advisor for Ajanta Pharmaceutical Company, Mumbai, India for a short period of time
